Foundation for Ashley’s Dream Named Primary Sponsor of Automotive Podcast

CANTON, GA (May 1, 2026) — Foundation for Ashley's Dream announced a partnership with Full Throttle Files, a podcast geared toward automotive collectors and hobbyists across the United States.

Hosted by Gerardo Hernandez, the weekly podcast reaches more than 100,000 followers and will feature Ashley's Dream as its primary sponsor. Hernandez, a car-collector enthusiast and owner of Car Community Connection, uses the podcast to connect with fellow enthusiasts and promote car shows across the country. One of the largest promoters in Georgia, Car Community Connection has raised thousands of dollars to help those in need.

"We are excited to have Foundation for Ashley's Dream as our primary sponsor. Sharing Ashley's dream to help others is exactly what we're about. There are car collectors everywhere who care about giving and helping those less fortunate," Hernandez said. "The organization's mission to invest in trade school education and infrastructure is the primary reason we teamed up."

"As enthusiasts, we need automotive technicians and trained specialists to maintain and refurbish our automobiles. We also want our streets clear of drunk drivers, and we'll do our part to raise awareness about the dangers," Hernandez said.

"I remember one of our best car shows. A mom called in from Iowa—her son was dying of cancer, and his love for automobiles was so strong he wanted a car show in his name. In four weeks, we assembled a show in a mall parking lot and had more than 5,000 cars. We flew him and his mom in, and he rode in and sat in so many cars—everyone wanted to share their ride with him," Hernandez said.

"It was a great day not only for him, but for all of us who wanted to share a little of our love for cars. Unfortunately, he passed away two weeks after the show."

"Ashley's Dream is excited to be part of this podcast," said David Easterbrook, president of the Foundation for Ashley's Dream. "It gives us an opportunity to share with the world that drunk drivers affect all of us. They can change lives instantly, and promoting awareness may save a life. In addition, listeners will have an opportunity to donate to our mission of saving lives and educating young people through investments in trade school infrastructure."
